The ‘Orchidaroma’ series by Anthea McGibbon is one of the most prized by her collectors. Although some have cheated by ordering paintings of purple gladiolas which look somewhat similar to orchid variations.
Anthea means flowers, and orchids because of their characteristics are my favourite. Purchase online or visit Gallery Art in Florida. Prices start at Jamaica $3,000 for an original in acrylic measuring aprroximately 5×8 inches in size.
Orchids are done by Anthea in pastels, oil and acrylic.

Orchids thrive well all over Jamaica. There is a Jamaica Orchid society, and if you get lucky you can visit numerous homes where orchids are grown.
